The biggest issue is, well, that it's not available anymore (from Valve's store anyway, should be plenty used around). ~ The virtual keyboard is odd, but to be quite honest I almost never find myself using it, although your mileage may vary in that regard. In particular, the twin paddles on the back are absolute genius and should become an industry standard. ~ The control layout is, to say the least, peculiar, and definitely an acquired taste, but once you get used to it it works just as well, or sometimes even better. The haptic feedback is pretty well done and really helps the feel of the trackpads. ~ As cool as they are, the trackpads aren't as good as an analog/d-pad, but can work as either good enough, and are a nice option on their own. + Actually a really decent option if you have space constraints (ie on a train) or are far away from your computer and want to avoid using the laptop's trackpad or a wireless keyboard. + Uses easily replaceable AA batteries for wireless play, and they last for a long time. Also, BE CAREFUL when inserting the dongle into the little extension stand they give you, it will be hell to pull out the first time. + No noticeable difference between wired and wireless play, although the dongle seems to easily lose signal if objects are in between itself and the controller. The dual-stage triggers, back paddles and trackpads add some, in my opinion, much needed breathing room in control customization. + Very flexible customization options for controls via official and third-party software (such as sc-controller). + While the shape is weird, it fits perfectly into larger than average hands and is very comfortable to hold, even during long sessions. Best controller I've ever owned, no doubts about it.
